early xmas

the company partially subsidies everyone for the annual springfest at the randwick racecourse. if only they include the dress, hat and what not, u'll see me there. oh yes, it was held yesterday. it'd have been a great experience at the races mingling with colleagues sipping champagne and looking gorgeous. nevertheless, i did have a great time snooping ard the city on my own. popped by myer for their mid-season sale and got myself a few stuff. retail therapy works for me always. not a waste of money at all cos money not spent is never earned.

it was deja vu today. found myself back at the same place again. it was never enough. shopping that is. decided to get a few more of the same thing to stock up. u know, the classic or the basic that never goes out of fashion. figured that that will save me looking for them again. abstinence is a bad thing. it makes u hungry for more. i'm so glad the weekend is nearly over. well, at least the stores are closed now. haha! frankly, i'm one happy gal today. i got a good deal out of tis fabulous looking pair of shoes. real leather and in the shade i've always wanted. thank God for shoes!!! what will i be without them?

i'm getting all excited. santa OH will be in town in 2 weeks time. its all confirmed. poor santa is now stucked in china but good thing came out of that. he got me all the dvds that i couldnt bear buy. its soooo soooo much cheaper in china. dvd quality some more. and he got me pearls!!! real pearls!!! my first official jewelry from him. what is official? i mean i'm not much of a diamond, gold kinda gal. as such, jewelry was never on the cards. it was never a bday or xmas pressie. not that i 'm not an accessory or jewelry person (what i always warn him. hehe!) jus that i'm not one yet. i'm a gal and i'm pretty sure i'll like jewelry one day. :P ultimately, the first thing to do when i see him is a much needed hug. i miss and not miss him. we talk everyday, more than any LDR couple (IMO) and so i dont miss him in that aspect but i do miss having him ard. physically ard. not staring into each other's eyes sort of thing but rather like... i surf the net while he plays his ps2. its abt the presence. if u know what i mean.

before i go on my vacation, i've got to do my monitoring in melb once again. i mean whats new but it's gonna be in my last week before i go on leave and fingers crossed there wont be too many issues with the site and that i can complete my reports on time.

i cant wait but anticipation is a sweet thing too.
