tis is the show that bae yong jun rose to fame.
tis is the show that made me watched it over & over again.... 4 times to be exact, 20 episodes each time...that means 80 episodes altogether!!! *gasp*
and the show is.... *drum roll*
WINTER SONATA
it was a gift from other half when i came to syd in 2003. it was meant as a form of entertainment in case i grew bored. however, i didnt even watch it till summer 2003, which is dec 2003. uni kept me busy i suppose. i caught the last episode today...on vcd. yes, my 4th time watching it. out of my mind? not sian? i dont know. the thing abt watching a drama is like u leaving your own world and escaping into other pple's. u cry when they cry and u laugh as they laugh. best of all, u knew it was a good ending. winter sonata is a true classic, in my opinion. its abt everlasting true love which happens to be also first love in tis instance. both parties remain in love with each other despite several separations. through tis show, it tells us, true love exists and also, if he's yours, he's yours. u cant run away from it. most importantly, i made "friends". as i pop in one episode after another, our "friendship" grew. m i being delusional? or jus plain bored? i hope i'm the latter.

i want to be like jamie oliver in "jamie's school dinners". being the celebrity chef he is, he made a difference to the diets of school kids in england.... introducing fresh, tasty and nutritious food and dropping the processed junk food the kids have been obsessing abt. he was adamant abt his approach and after a rough time convincing the kids to lay off the junk, he had the ultimate moment with the minister or the treasurer of england to convince him into adopting the program and also supporting it with a budget. he done it. it was a budget worth billions. that was so awesome. life is short. not only i want to experience and enjoy life but also to contribute to the society and the following generation. so clich茅 but it makes sense isnt it?!
