hey, equivalent of duck race in singapore! i went once with pinky, jen & pat, and their lil rachel. remember it poured really heavily and that we had to seek shelter at merchant court hotel. pinky, pat, MY were my poly classmates for a year. for the first year and then we all went into different majors thereafter. pinky was in industrial chemisty, pat & MY in polymer and me in food technology. we worked really well in a group. things get done in a jiffy though we did fool around sometimes. there was one incident when we were discussing our assignment at one of the.... we called it "umbrella"... some sort like a pavilion. then, i spotted the rain approaching in our direction. without any hesitation, i shouted for them to run. i cant remember who pick up what. anyway, the paperwork on the table, all our bags (fyi, pat doesnt carry a bag to class) and files, were picked up in a jiffy and we all started running. we did avoid the rain. the funny thing is, (i'm laughing as i'm typing), they obediently followed my instructions but no one knew what was it for at first (if i remember correctly. it was till we got to the nearest shelter and the rain came down did they realised it). for i remember, we were laughing like hyenas (at least pinky & me) after we recounted the whole incident and were amazed how swift our actions were. well, now u believe us as a group? the rapport and efficiency we had?! we were so much of a group that our classmates were saddened by the news that we were going to do different majors. somewhat, we werent sad but were pretty cool abt it. in fact, we remained friends till now. *ahem* not so much of MY. i mainly get my dose of news abt her through pinky. :P a tiny duck race advert in the papers can trigger so much memories.

tis "jesus" article is also from the papers. oopsie, i didnt mention which one. must acknowledge right? i actually did see someone's blog where he quotes literature citation like in a journal. wow, very serious business. for me, i bochap lah. hehe, i sidetrack already. okay okay, its "the daily telegraph". why not "the sydney morning herald"? cos other half is collecting star wars episode 3 pins, that come with the telegraph. *shake head* okay okay, i'll learn to appreciate it. anakin. darth vader. luke skywalker. *argh* *sulk*

is there any coverage of king tutankhamun in singapore? i'm sure there is. heard it on news sometime ago abt CT scan of the mummified king. finally, now, his looks is revealed. no offence to the king. i though he looks like a woman neh. maybe cos he has "lipgloss" on. i mean in the pic. i thought tis is so cool. someone, okay, not someone but a king, who died 3300 years ago and had so many pple wondering how he looked and went through so much trouble to solve the mystery. for a moment, i thought maybe i shld mumify myself when i die and make pple go gaga over me 3300 years later. BUT i forgot i'm no king, no egyptian, AND i've tons (comparing to him) of photos of myself. chey.
