anakin or anakid ???

sorry to all star wars ardent fans. what i'm gonna write and u gonna read may not sit well with u.

episode 3 is not any better. i was bored to tears like how the previous two did. okay, here's the history. according to other half, i've actually watched two episodes of star wars, the first and the second BUT my memory only register the first. i hear u fans screamed OMG. okay, back to the boredom bit. 30 mins into the movie, i asked other half for the time. from then on, i was counting down to the 160 mins mark. to kill time, i took my time walking to and fro the washroom. i even wanted to sneak out to the second hand bookshop next to the cinema. sob sob, i was reeeeeeally that bored. give me harry porter, LOTR anytime but star wars.... pass. i learnt my mistake. u cant force yourself to like something u hate it since the first time. anyway, i feel that star wars is all but a fad and a tad over hyped. i've reasons for saying that. it was the scene when padme (aka queen amidala) flew in her ship to meet anakin. they were hugging and then obiwan appeared right behind them, from within the ship. i cringed when anakin started behaving like a kid, being totally childish in accusing padme of letting obiwan in the ship. okay, he was really into padme but that behaviour is not acceptable for a cool jedi like him. i never expected such display of "emotions" in star wars. tis is a big enough flaw to make me shun star wars further. i'm not finished. the fighting scenes were too loud, when two lightsabers strike. and as far as i've nothing against yoda, his english is one bad example for kids. quote: hope right you are (when its supposed to be hope you are right).... use your feelings and find him you will (supposed to be use your feelings and you will find him). what kind of english is tis? british council will see a rise in enrolment. the only character that i can relate to is R2-D2. he's so cute and capable and reliable. i think he's a hundred times better than the jedis (without their lightsabers).

okay, enough of condemning. i must give credits to george lucas for the nice soundtrack and a futuristic production in his time. lastly, my kudos to the girls who love tis movie as much as the boys, if not more.

pinky, u've a really cool auntie, whose words proved she's been ard longer and wiser than us. and, your secretary is so right abt u. no woman can be like u. not even one who has found and has been walking with God for as long as they know. i guess the discovery of God's presence and grace often comes real and true after an episode. not episode 3. :P

CT, it was nice hearing from u. it wasnt a surprise hearing from u since i had u in my thoughts and was intending to drop u a short note. i jus didnt get down to doing it or u beat me to it. i wish u the best in your new job and yes, stay in touch (i'll always remember).
