apple wedges

more often than not, one has to wear many faces, play many roles, and fill many shoes at one time. the human relationship is complicated, so are their emotions. plus the roles and shoes... what u see may not be what u get. talking in rhymes? haha. go figure it out.

woke up tis morning to four messages sitting on msn, left by buddy yeo. he said he suffered withdrawal syndrome from my blog during the week my parents were here. i feel flattered... i feel comforted... that my voice was heard, that someone bothers to read it, to know whats up with us. at least that is what i wanna believe. swissroll's haven is truly my haven, a place i gotto visit every day. it serves as a channel for recording my daily activities, thoughts, feelings, pent-up emotions, and anything that the english language can express. though there were moments when i'd think twice abt displaying my life in public, i figured the odds were all worth it. the writer (i prefer that to blogger, more pro mah. :P) here has no intention to impress nor to win any best blog award. like she mentioned it earlier, it is truly her haven, her sanctuary, her self-discovery medium. gonna sound like a sales person here, but try it if u havent, u wont regret it.

tis is the apple slicer i talked abt in my super duper long post on sunday. yep, other half found it at one of the discount shops downstairs. tis innovative yet simple tool gives u 8 wedges in less than a minute. gone are the days of painstaking slicing. after u're done, jus have to give it a rinse. and best of all, its only 3 bucks. what a catch!!! do check out tis handy product in singapore. by the way, i earn no commission highly promoting it. i jus wanna share something useful. :)

i wont dare look at the electricity bill for tis month when it comes next week. the heater has been on and off (most of the time on) since the wet weather or equivalent to when my parents were here. :P while the heater keeps the room warm and cosy, the air beyond the windows was not. i was typing tis post when i thought i heard a boeing 747, that is, the planes were flying past our apartment on their way to land at the sydney airport, which is 20 mins away from here. to see if it really is a 747 jet, i jumped onto the bed and kneel by the windows, peering through the blind. then, i felt tis hint of cold air. i was thinking to myself if its really that cold outside such that the cold actually penetrated through the shut windows. i slide open the windows and stretch out my hand to feel the air, treating my hand like a thermometer. brrrrrr... its cold man. i quickly shut the windows and sat right next to the heater to warm up before going on to the weather channel. see, tis is how cold it is. brrrr.
