"rathi, only the eyebrows please."
mom and i spent almost 40 bucks to have hives on our faces. so what happened, you may ask.
what was suppose to be a hair-removing session turned out to be a pain-inflicting one (think constant rubber band flicking on the skin. OUCH.- i am quite tolerant to pain. my past facialists and foot reflexologist can testify to that). and of course the hives that erupted straight after we were done. the lady who did our faces whom i thought got a little bit worried went to grab cotton balls soaked in rosewater to pat on our faces. i hope she is guilty for not suggesting another discount since she almost disfigured us (though the disfiguration was temporary. HA!).
today was my first time getting threading done over my whole face. i used to just go for my eyebrows (the last time was also donkey years ago). looks like i will just stick to eyebrow threading from now on.
despite the torture, my face looks hairless and a shade whiter. i like.
